The “Illumination Exhibition,” featuring works by 2nd-year students of the Traditional Turkish Arts Department, opened on December 23rd as part of the “Illumination Workshop” course led by Associate Professor Dr. Şeyda Algaç, a faculty member of our Traditional Turkish Arts Department.
Speaking at the opening, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeyda Algaç stated that the designs in the prepared works originated from İznik and were reinterpreted by the students. Following the Dean’s thanks to the students who contributed to the exhibition and to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Algaç, the course instructor, the students were presented with their certificates.
The exhibition, consisting of a total of 42 works by our students Beyza Nur Dankaz, Cemile Polat, Ebrar Sıla Tunç, Esma Yeşilçimen, Esra Küçük, Hamide Fidan, Keziban Karamoçu, Leman Bayar, Mine Akkoyun, Nimet Demirayak, Sabiha Saygılı, Semra Tezcan, Servet Çetin and Sevim Fincankaya, can be visited until January 2, 2026.
